Barry T. Kerrigan is the President and Founder of Desktop Miracles, a book design and production studio born on April Fools Day 1994. Barry has been involved in book design and production since 1989 and has been involved with more than 1000 projects. His experience includes corporate publishing accounts with several Fortune 100 companies, as well as setting up and starting the entire in-house prepress and typesetting department for Word Publishing, at the time the world’s leading Christian publishing house, and a division of ABC/CapCities. Barry is a respected expert and frequent speaker on book design and production at publishing seminars nationwide, an active participant in several national and regional publishing associations, and a regular exhibitor at publishing conferences and trade shows nationwide. He is the author of Book Design & Production: The Ultimate Guide to Editorial, Design, Production, and Manufacturing, an upcoming release from Laughlin & Monroe Press., along with several smaller ebooks that will be available.
